Return and Refund Policy

WARRANTY, RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Backland Outfitter LLC (“Backland,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the following Warranty, Return, and Refund Policy for all products sold directly through BacklandOutfitter.com. By purchasing from Backland, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. RAMBO BIKES POLICY

1.1 LIMITED WARRANTY

Frame Warranty

Rambo electric bicycle frames are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Component Warranty

All factory-installed electrical and mechanical components are covered by a One (1) Year Limited Warranty, including:

  • Motor
  • Controller
  • Display
  • Wiring
  • Hardware

1.2 WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, chains, etc.)
  • Damage from misuse, accidents, or improper assembly
  • Unauthorized modifications or non-approved parts
  • Battery damage from improper storage or charging
  • Failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions
  • Cosmetic damage not affecting performance

Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.


1.3 WARRANTY CLAIMS

To submit a claim, customers must provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Bicycle serial number
  • Description of the issue (photos/video may be required)

Backland reserves the right to determine eligibility.
Labor, shipping, and installation costs are not covered unless approved in writing.


1.4 16-DAY TRIAL & RETURNS (E-BIKES)

Backland offers a 16-day trial period from delivery.

Requirements:

  • Return requested within 16 days
  • Bicycle has 10 miles or less
  • Like-new condition
  • Returned with original packaging and all components

Limit: One (1) return per customer per year


1.5 REFUNDS

  • Full refunds issued for approved returns
  • Damage or wear may result in deductions
  • Returns exceeding limits may be refused

Refunds processed within 7–14 business days after inspection.


1.6 SHIPPING DAMAGE

  • Report within 5 days of delivery
  • Photos required

Failure to report may result in denial.


1.7 ACCESSORIES

  • Returnable within 16 days if unused and in original packaging
  • Used items are not eligible

1.8 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Backland disclaims all implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.


2. 23ZERO PRODUCTS POLICY

2.1 ORDER CANCELLATIONS

  • 3.5% fee before shipment
  • After shipment: customer responsible for all costs
  • May include 20% restocking fee
  • Shipping is non-refundable

2.2 FREIGHT (LTL) DELIVERY

  • Inspect shipment before accepting
  • Reject damaged shipments
  • Report concealed damage within 3 business days

2.3 STANDARD DELIVERY

  • Inspect within 7 business days
  • Failure to report transfers responsibility to customer

2.4 RETURNS

  • Must be unused and in original packaging
  • Return within 7 days
  • 20% restocking fee applies
  • RMA required

2.5 WARRANTY

Coverage:

  • Rooftop tents & awnings: 2 years
  • Covers & straps: 1 year
  • All other products: 1 year

Warranty is non-transferable and may be prorated.


2.6 WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Includes:

  • Environmental damage (UV, storms)
  • Misuse or improper installation
  • Accidents or impacts
  • Commercial or full-time use

2.7 LIABILITY

Applies only within the contiguous U.S.
Backland is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.


3. STEADYRACK PRODUCTS POLICY

3.1 RETURNS (15 DAYS)

  • Must be unused and in original packaging
  • Approval required prior to return

3.2 FEES

  • Customer pays return shipping
  • $10 processing fee per unit
  • Shipping is non-refundable

3.3 WARRANTY

  • One (1) year limited warranty
  • Non-transferable

3.4 LIMITATIONS

Backland is not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays
  • Duties or taxes
  • Indirect damages

4. GENERAL TERMS

4.1 INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE

Customers must inspect all products upon delivery.
Claims must be reported within stated timeframes or may be denied.


4.2 OUT-OF-WARRANTY REPAIRS

Backland may offer repairs at cost for non-covered items. Some items may not be repairable.


4.3 SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs (unless otherwise stated)
  • Using trackable and insured shipping methods

Backland is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.


4.4 FORCE MAJEURE

Backland is not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond its control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Carrier delays
  • Labor disruptions
  • Government actions

4.5 PRODUCT CHANGES

Backland reserves the right to modify product designs, specifications, and pricing at any time without notice.


4.6 POLICY UPDATES

Backland reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
